He said the collaboration supports preparations for prospective Indonesian migrant workers.
Panji hopes all participants will pass the competency certification and job interviews with prospective employers. Both stages are essential for participants to advance through the recruitment process.
“We hope all participants pass the competency certification and job interviews with prospective employers,” Panji said.
He also encouraged participants to continue improving their English skills, particularly for their future work as baristas. In addition, he considered Polije’s facilities adequate to support similar training programs in the future.
Dr. Dhanang Eka Putra, S.P., M.Sc., Head of Polije’s SMK Go Global Task Force, also expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection, BP3MI East Java, the Jember Manpower Office, and all instructors. He described the training as part of Polije’s commitment to preparing skilled Indonesian migrant workers.
“This training is part of Polije’s commitment to preparing competent Indonesian migrant workers who are ready to compete in the international job market,” Dhanang said.
During the program, participants learned about raw material management, operating manual and automatic espresso machines, and customer service. They also studied basic English to support communication in the workplace.
Dhanang reminded participants to maintain professional ethics and good conduct while working abroad. He also urged them to uphold Indonesia’s reputation and follow official procedures throughout the overseas employment placement process.
Through the SMK Go Global program, Polije and its partners hope participants will successfully complete certification and recruitment. The training also strengthens efforts to prepare Indonesian workers to compete in the international labor market.
