The Office of State Assets and Auction Services (KPKNL) Jember, under the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), Ministry of Finance, conducted the DJKN Goes to Campus program at Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE). Held at the Vocational Auditorium, the event aimed to enhance students' understanding of state asset management and the official auction system in Indonesia while promoting financial and legal literacy among future professionals.

The educational program carried the theme "Building Auction Literacy for the Young Generation" and brought together approximately 100 students from the Bachelor of Applied Accounting for the Public Sector Study Program. Through this initiative, students gained valuable insights into the role of state auctions in supporting transparency, accountability, and good governance in public asset management.

During the opening session, Dr. Yossi Wibisono, Vice Director for Finance and General Affairs of POLIJE, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between the university and KPKNL Jember. He emphasized that the program aligns with POLIJE's vocational education mission, which focuses on practical learning, industry collaboration, and preparing graduates with competencies that meet the needs of government institutions and the professional sector.

Representatives from KPKNL Jember introduced students to the legal framework, procedures, and business processes of state auctions in Indonesia. Participants learned how public auctions are conducted transparently, fairly, and in accordance with national regulations. The speakers also highlighted the important role of auctions in managing state assets, resolving receivables, and supporting public financial administration.

One of the highlights of the event was a live auction simulation, where students were guided through the process of creating an account on Indonesia's official auction platform and participating in a mock online auction. This hands-on activity enabled participants to understand every stage of the auction process, from registration and bidding to determining the winning bidder, providing valuable practical experience beyond classroom learning.

The program also sought to address common misconceptions about public auctions by explaining that official government auctions are conducted through regulated, transparent, and accountable mechanisms. By improving public understanding, KPKNL Jember hopes to encourage greater public participation and trust in the national auction system while fostering legal awareness among young people.

For POLIJE students, the activity represented an important opportunity to connect academic knowledge with professional practice. As a vocational higher education institution, POLIJE continues to strengthen experiential learning through collaboration with government agencies, enabling students to develop practical competencies, professional ethics, and a deeper understanding of public sector administration.

The successful implementation of DJKN Goes to Campus reflects the strong partnership between POLIJE and the Ministry of Finance in advancing vocational education. By integrating academic learning with real-world institutional practices, the program equips students with practical knowledge, strengthens their readiness for future careers in the public sector, and supports the development of transparent and accountable governance in Indonesia.
