POLIJE and SMA Negeri 2 Jember Establish Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Educational Collaboration

Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE) has strengthened its commitment to advancing education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with SMA Negeri 2 Jember. The partnership, formalized at the Asih Asah Asuh Building on the POLIJE campus, aims to enhance the quality of secondary education while introducing students to the opportunities and advantages of vocational higher education.

The collaboration reflects POLIJE's ongoing effort to expand its network with secondary schools and build a stronger educational ecosystem that bridges high school learning with industry-oriented higher education. Through this partnership, students will gain broader access to applied learning experiences, advanced technology, and academic mentoring designed to prepare them for future careers and higher education.

During the signing ceremony, Saiful Anwar, Director of POLIJE, warmly welcomed the delegation from SMA Negeri 2 Jember and emphasized the university's commitment to sharing its expertise in applied technology and vocational education. He stated that the collaboration is intended to provide tangible academic benefits by strengthening students' competencies and exposing them to modern learning environments that reflect current industry practices.

As part of the agreement, POLIJE will provide access to its laboratories and other academic facilities to support collaborative educational activities. The university also pledged to offer continuous technological assistance and academic support, enabling teachers and students to participate in practical learning experiences that complement classroom instruction.

Representing SMA Negeri 2 Jember, Principal Yuswita Sari expressed appreciation for POLIJE's warm reception and highlighted the university's modern facilities and comprehensive academic resources. She believes the partnership will motivate students to pursue vocational higher education while providing teachers with opportunities to strengthen educational innovation and collaboration.
