Polije Conducts Benchmarking Visit to Politeknik Negeri Malang to Strengthen Institutional Collaboration

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) carried out a benchmarking visit to Politeknik Negeri Malang (Polinema) on Monday, February 6, 2026. The activity was organized as part of an initiative to strengthen institutional collaboration and to exchange knowledge and best practices between the two polytechnics.

The visit was a follow-up to an official request letter from Polije dated January 14, 2026, regarding the implementation of a benchmarking program. Polinema responded positively and agreed in principle to host the visit, marking a shared commitment to building stronger academic and institutional partnerships.

The benchmarking activity took place at Teleconference Room 2, AA Building, 1st Floor, Polinema, starting at 09:00 AM until the end of the program. Representatives from both institutions attended the session with the goal of learning from each other’s experiences and exploring potential areas for collaboration.

The event began with a registration and welcoming session, followed by the official opening. Leaders from Polinema delivered welcoming remarks, expressing appreciation for the visit and emphasizing the importance of collaboration among higher education institutions.

This was followed by remarks from the leadership of Politeknik Negeri Jember, who highlighted the purpose of the benchmarking activity. The delegation conveyed hopes that the visit would provide valuable insights and contribute to improving institutional performance and services.

The main agenda continued with a presentation on the profile of Politeknik Negeri Malang. The session provided an overview of its academic programs, institutional management, achievements, and development strategies. Participants then engaged in a discussion and question-and-answer session to deepen their understanding and exchange perspectives.

After a break, the program resumed with further discussions and the sharing of best practices between both institutions. The delegation also had the opportunity to visit several facilities and related units at Polinema to observe operational systems and support services directly.

The activity concluded with a summary of key findings from the benchmarking session, followed by a closing session and a group photo. Through this visit, both Polije and Polinema reaffirmed their commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and mutual learning for the advancement of higher education quality.
