The 2026 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week officially began on September 9, 2026, with the registration and welcoming of delegates participating in the Seminar on China-ASEAN Agricultural Vocational Education Industry-Education Integrated Development and the Annual Conference of the China-ASEAN Agricultural TVET Industry-Education Integration Community.

The registration process was held from 08:00 to 20:00 at the Luzun International Conference Center Hotel in Qingzhen City, Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The activity provided an opportunity for participants from China and ASEAN countries to complete registration and prepare for the main conference scheduled for September 10, 2026.

To support the arrival of delegates, the organizers provided transportation services from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, Guiyangbei Railway Station, and Guiyangdong Railway Station to the conference hotel. These arrangements helped ensure that participants could travel safely and efficiently to the designated accommodation venue.

Representing Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE), Indonesia, were Agung Wahyono, Ph.D., Vice Director for Cooperation and Public Relations of POLIJE, and Vigo Dewangga, S.S., M.Pd., Head of the International Cooperation Office (KUI) of POLIJE. Their participation represented POLIJE at the international forum focusing on agricultural vocational education and industry-education integration.

The registration and welcoming activities also provided an opportunity for delegates to meet representatives from vocational education institutions, government organizations, industry, and other partners from China and ASEAN countries. These initial interactions created a platform for exchanging perspectives and identifying potential areas for future cooperation.

The event was jointly hosted by Guizhou Vocational College of Agriculture, Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College, and Anshun Technical College. The participation of institutions from different countries reflected the collaborative nature of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, particularly in advancing agricultural vocational education.

Following registration, participants prepared to attend the main conference and a series of sessions scheduled for September 10. The conference agenda includes an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, thematic discussions, a signing ceremony, and a meeting of the China-ASEAN Agricultural TVET Industry-Education Integration Community.

The first day served as an important starting point for the international gathering, strengthening communication among delegates and preparing participants for discussions on the development of agricultural vocational education, industry-education integration, and international cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
