Polije Digitalizes Bagor Wetan Village Posyandu Through Information System
NGANJUK — Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) is promoting the digital transformation of Posyandu services in Bagor Wetan Village, Nganjuk Regency. Through its 2026 Community Service Program, Polije developed a website-based Posyandu Information System (SIP).
The program uses a Teaching Factory scheme to apply technology according to community needs. The SIP also helps Posyandu cadres and village midwives manage data in a more systematic way.
During the development process, Polije tailored the SIP features to the needs of cadres and village midwives. As a result, users can manage Posyandu data more effectively, quickly, and accurately.
The Polije team then conducted a program socialization session and introduced the system to users. The team also provided technical guidance for Posyandu cadres and village midwives.
Next, the cadres and village midwives practiced using the website-based SIP. Through the practice sessions, participants learned how to record and manage Posyandu data digitally.
The Polije team also evaluated the SIP with the users. The evaluation helped ensure that the system matched the needs of Posyandu services in the village.
Polije subsequently handed over the SIP application to the Bagor Wetan Village Government. The village government can use the system to support sustainable Posyandu data management.
The program also strengthened collaboration between Polije, the local government, and the Bagor Wetan community. This collaboration promotes the use of technology to improve public service management.
Furthermore, the SIP implementation supports the development of the Smart Village concept in Bagor Wetan Village. The technology helps cadres and village midwives provide more structured Posyandu information.
Polije expects the SIP to improve the efficiency of Posyandu data management. The innovation is also expected to support more effective and sustainable public services.
