POLIJE Holds Departure Ceremony for 14 Informatics Engineering Students Joining Joint Degree Program with MSU Malaysia
Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE) held a Departure Ceremony to officially send off 14 students from the Diploma 4 Informatics Engineering Study Program who will participate in the Joint Degree Program with Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia. The program represents POLIJE’s commitment to providing students with international academic experiences and expanding opportunities for global learning.
The Departure Ceremony was held on Monday, August 24, 2026, ahead of the students’ scheduled departure to Malaysia on August 27, 2026. The event brought together POLIJE representatives, lecturers, students, and parents to provide support and encouragement to the participating students before they begin their international academic journey.
The 14 students are participants of the Diploma 4 Informatics Engineering Study Program and will undertake part of their academic studies at Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia. Through the Joint Degree Program, students are expected to gain broader academic perspectives, develop international competencies, and experience a multicultural learning environment.
The program is also part of POLIJE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen internationalization through strategic partnerships with overseas higher education institutions. Collaboration with MSU provides students with opportunities to enhance their academic knowledge while developing communication, adaptability, independence, and other competencies needed in an increasingly globalized professional environment.
