POLIJE Holds Departure Ceremony for Four Informatics Management Students Joining Joint Degree Program in China
Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE) held a Departure Ceremony for four students from the Diploma 3 Informatics Management Study Program who will participate in a Joint Degree Program with Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology, China. The program marks another important step in POLIJE’s efforts to expand international academic opportunities for its students.
The Departure Ceremony was held on Monday, September 7, 2026, at 10:00 WIB, ahead of the students’ scheduled departure to China on September 9, 2026. The event was attended by members of the POLIJE academic community, lecturers, students, and other stakeholders who provided support and encouragement to the participants.
The four students will continue part of their academic journey at Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology through the Joint Degree Program. The program is designed to provide students with international academic exposure while allowing them to experience a different educational environment and gain broader perspectives in the field of information technology and management.
Participation in the program is expected to strengthen the students’ academic and professional competencies. In addition to developing technical knowledge, the students will have opportunities to improve their communication skills, adaptability, independence, intercultural understanding, and readiness to work in an increasingly globalized environment.
