POLIJE Holds Focus Group Discussion to Finalize Cooperation Permit for International Class Program

Politeknik Negeri Jember recently conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to discuss the finalization of the cooperation permit required for the implementation of its International Class program. The discussion reflects the institution’s commitment to strengthening global engagement while ensuring that all international academic programs comply with national regulations.

The FGD was led by the Vice Director for Cooperation and Public Relations, Agung Wahyono, Ph.D., along with the team from the Office of International Affairs. The meeting aimed to review and finalize several administrative and strategic aspects needed to secure official approval for the International Class program.

During the discussion, participants examined the regulatory framework governing international academic collaborations. This included reviewing documentation requirements, institutional partnerships, and administrative procedures necessary for obtaining the official cooperation permit.

The International Class program at POLIJE has been developed as part of the institution’s strategy to expand international academic opportunities for students. Through this program, students can engage in global learning environments, collaborate with international partners, and gain exposure to cross-cultural academic experiences.

In the session, the Office of International Affairs team presented updates on the progress of the permit application process. According to Agung Wahyono, the FGD plays an important role in ensuring that the International Class program not only meets regulatory requirements but also maintains high academic standards.
