POLIJE Participates in Indonesia-China Education-Industry Collaboration Summit 2026

Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE) participated in the Indonesia-China Education-Industry Collaboration Summit 2026, an event aimed at strengthening cooperation between Indonesia and China in the fields of higher education, science, and technology. The summit was organized by the Directorate General of Science and Technology through the Directorate of Dissemination and Utilization of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Go Study Global Education.

The event was held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Grha Diktisaintek, 2nd Floor, Building D, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), Jakarta. The summit brought together representatives of Indonesian higher education institutions and Chinese industry stakeholders to explore opportunities for closer collaboration.

The Indonesia-China Education-Industry Collaboration Summit 2026 was organized as part of efforts to strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Indonesia and the People’s Republic of China, particularly in higher education, science, and technology. The event provided a platform for institutions and industry representatives to exchange ideas and identify potential areas for cooperation.

POLIJE was represented by Saiful Anwar, S.TP., M.P., Director of POLIJE, together with representatives from the International Affairs Office (Kantor Urusan Internasional/KUI) of POLIJE. Their participation reflected POLIJE’s institutional commitment to strengthening international partnerships and exploring strategic cooperation opportunities with partners from China.

One of the main objectives of the summit was to introduce Indonesia’s higher education ecosystem to representatives of Chinese industries. Through this initiative, Indonesian universities and polytechnics were encouraged to showcase their academic capabilities, research potential, innovation, and human resource development programs relevant to the needs of Chinese companies.

The summit also facilitated one-on-one matchmaking sessions between Indonesian higher education institutions and Chinese companies. These sessions were designed to create direct communication and identify opportunities for concrete partnerships in areas such as innovation, human resource development, technology, research, and other mutually beneficial fields.

For POLIJE, participation in the summit provided an important opportunity to strengthen its international engagement and explore potential collaboration with Chinese industry partners. The event also supported POLIJE’s ongoing efforts to expand its international cooperation network and create opportunities that can contribute to the development of students, lecturers, researchers, and institutional programs.

Through its participation in the Indonesia-China Education-Industry Collaboration Summit 2026, POLIJE reaffirmed its commitment to expanding international cooperation and strengthening connections between higher education and industry. The initiative is expected to open new opportunities for strategic collaboration with Chinese partners while contributing to the advancement of education, science, technology, and innovation at POLIJE.
