Polije Partners with Dozens of Industries for Industry and Career Summit 2026
JEMBER – Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) strengthened its partnership with industry through the Industry and Career Summit 2026. The job fair took place at GOR Perjuangan 45 Polije on Thursday (August 27, 2026).
Polije also partnered with the Central Board of the Polije Alumni Family Association (PP IKAPJ) to expand career opportunities for its alumni. A total of 45 national companies participated and offered job opportunities to 699 newly graduated students.
The Chairman of PP IKAPJ expressed his commitment to supporting sustainable employment opportunities for Polije graduates. The collaboration also strengthens public confidence in vocational graduates who are prepared to enter the workforce.
“IKAPJ is committed to collaborating with Polije to expand employment access for alumni,” said Chairman of PP IKAPJ Ir. H. Slamet Sulistiyono, S.P., M.Tr.P., IPM., ASEAN Eng.
He also highlighted the partnership with PT Benih Citra Asia, which has employed a significant number of Polije alumni. The strategic partnership demonstrates the competitiveness and quality of Polije vocational graduates in the industrial sector.
“To date, PT Benih Citra Asia has employed nearly 100 Polije alumni,” Slamet Sulistiyono added.
Meanwhile, Polije management has established the event as an annual career program. The university aims to help newly graduated students secure employment within one month.
“This event continues Polije’s efforts to strengthen the link and match between higher education and industry,” said Polije Director Saiful Anwar, S.TP., M.P.
Saiful also expressed his appreciation to dozens of major companies for supporting the job fair. The event gave graduates direct access to employment opportunities aligned with their competencies.
“A total of 45 national industries participated and opened employment opportunities for 699 graduates,” Saiful Anwar said.
The central government also welcomed the initiative. The forum provides a strategic platform for connecting prospective workers directly with companies.
“The Industry and Career Summit serves as a strategic platform connecting students, alumni, and industry,” said Director of Learning and Student Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, S.T., M.T.
Beny hopes the career development program will continue consistently in the coming years. He said sustained implementation could help reduce graduate unemployment and expand career opportunities for vocational graduates.
“We hope this program will continue every year to expand career opportunities for graduates,” Beny Bandanadjaja said.
