PT NJU Holds Briefing and Product Trial Planning at Polije UHT Teaching Factory

JEMBER – The UHT Teaching Factory (TEFA) at Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) hosted a briefing and product trial planning session on Tuesday (September 1, 2026). Industry partner PT NJU organized the event to prepare for professional testing of milk-based food products.

The collaboration strengthens the partnership between Polije and industry in food technology development. Polije management also provided guidance on utilizing the UHT TEFA facilities.

PT NJU representative Shadiqy Artib presented the technical plan for the product testing. Both teams also aligned their understanding of the campus milk-processing facilities and their readiness for the trial.

“We presented the concept and plan for the product trial at the Polije UHT TEFA, including the product overview, trial objectives, and technical aspects of the testing,” Shadiqy Artib said.

Meanwhile, Rinanto Pradana, representing R&D TABURA, praised Polije’s infrastructure and technological capabilities. He expressed optimism that the collaboration would produce high-quality dairy products.

“The Polije UHT TEFA facilities are fully prepared to support this industry-standard testing. This will allow the activities to run systematically and meet industry requirements,” Rinanto Pradana said.

Technician team representative Listiono also reaffirmed his commitment to overseeing every stage of the product trial. The team will ensure that the processing follows applicable manufacturing standards.

“We are ready to oversee the entire technical trial process and provide Polije’s academic community with practical experience in understanding product testing procedures,” Listiono said.

The meeting was also attended by industry partner representatives Wahyu Nugroho, Deny Hastomo, and Chaerul Huda. The event highlights the important role of Polije’s Teaching Factory in connecting vocational education with industry.
