WFK-ICT 2026 Volunteers Entertain Hundreds of Students at SMKN 4 Jember
JEMBER – Hundreds of students at SMK Negeri 4 Jember welcomed the excitement of the 2026 World Friends Korea ICT Volunteers program. The international initiative brought vocational students together with volunteers from South Korea in a lively atmosphere of friendship and cultural exchange.
The event was made possible with the support of Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije), which serves as the host institution for the program. Polije brought the Korean student volunteers to SMKN 4 Jember to share their experiences in technology and introduce aspects of Korean culture.
The school grounds came alive as artistic performances from both countries took center stage. Students and Korean volunteers presented a cultural collaboration featuring traditional dances, K-Pop dance performances, and interactive music shows.
The students’ enthusiasm was evident as they filled the venue from early morning. The unique event provided an engaging learning experience, allowing students to discover Korean culture while also promoting local traditions.
Laughter, cheers, and applause continued throughout the performances. The series of activities created a warm and memorable cross-cultural learning experience for the students.
The WFK-ICT 2026 program at SMKN 4 Jember also strengthened friendship among young people from Indonesia and South Korea. The collaborative initiative further broadened the global perspectives of vocational students as they prepare to engage with an increasingly international world.
