Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE) concluded its participation in the 2026 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week on September 11, 2026, following the completion of the conference program in Guizhou, China. The final day was dedicated to the departure of delegates from the conference hotel to their respective transportation points.

Transportation services were provided throughout the day from the Luzun International Conference Center Hotel to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, Guiyangbei Railway Station, and Guiyangdong Railway Station. The arrangements supported the safe and efficient departure of participants following their involvement in the international conference and related activities.

The POLIJE delegation consisted of Agung Wahyono, Ph.D., Vice Director for Cooperation and Public Relations of POLIJE, and Vigo Dewangga, S.S., M.Pd., Head of the International Cooperation Office (KUI) of POLIJE. Their participation throughout the event represented POLIJE in discussions and cooperation activities involving higher education institutions, government representatives, and industry partners from China and ASEAN countries.

The three-day program provided POLIJE with opportunities to engage directly with international partners in agricultural vocational education. The program included registration and networking activities, keynote and thematic sessions, cooperation signing ceremonies, and discussions within the China-ASEAN Agricultural TVET Industry-Education Integration Community.

A significant part of the conference was the signing of cooperation agreements involving educational institutions and industry partners. Among the agreements listed on the conference agenda was a three-party cooperation agreement between Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College, Politeknik Negeri Jember of Indonesia, and PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia. The agreement provides an important framework for continued institutional and industry collaboration.

The participation also provided POLIJE with opportunities to strengthen communication with partners involved in agricultural vocational education and industry-education integration. The conference brought together participants from China, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Thailand, and other countries, creating opportunities for international exchange and cooperation.

The conference program also included the Integration Community Council Meeting, which discussed organizational adjustments, leadership of the Malaysia Country Group, proposed major projects for the 15th Five-Year Plan, and other matters concerning the future development of the community. These discussions provided a broader framework for continued cooperation among participating institutions.

With the departure of its delegates on September 11, POLIJE concluded its participation in the 2026 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. The engagement is expected to contribute to strengthening international cooperation, particularly in agricultural vocational education, industry-education integration, and the development of sustainable partnerships among POLIJE, international educational institutions, and industry partners.
