Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE) held a Departure Ceremony on Monday, September 14, 2026, to mark the upcoming departure of ten students from the Diploma 3 Animal Production Study Program. The ceremony was organized in preparation for their participation in an international academic program in China.

The ten students will be accompanied by one lecturer as they take part in the Transfer Credits and Academic Lecture Program at Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College, China. The program is scheduled to begin with their departure on September 16, 2026, marking another opportunity for POLIJE students to gain international academic experience.

The Departure Ceremony was conducted as an important moment to prepare the students before they embark on their international academic journey. The event brought together university representatives, lecturers, students, and parents or guardians to support the participants and ensure their readiness for the program.

The ceremony was held at 10:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB). The event served not only as a formal send-off but also as an opportunity to strengthen communication and coordination among the students, their families, academic representatives, and the university management.

The program reflects POLIJE’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to expand their academic perspectives through international collaboration. Participation in an overseas academic program allows students to experience a different educational environment while strengthening their knowledge and professional competencies in animal production.

The international program at Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College is also expected to provide valuable exposure to academic activities and practices related to the animal husbandry sector. Through the Transfer Credits component, the students will have the opportunity to connect their international learning experience with their academic studies at POLIJE.

The Departure Ceremony was attended by representatives of POLIJE leadership, the Department of Animal Husbandry, the Animal Production Study Program, the International Cooperation Office (KUI), lecturers, parents or guardians, and the participating students. Their presence demonstrated collective support for the students as they prepare to represent POLIJE in an international academic setting.

With the departure scheduled for September 16, the ten Animal Production students are expected to make the most of their experience in China by actively participating in academic activities, adapting to a new learning environment, and building international connections. The program is expected to contribute to their academic development while further strengthening POLIJE’s international cooperation and student mobility initiatives.
